THE STORY

As a little girl living by the sea I always loved being outside and down at the beach-hut.  

I'd be out all day until the sun went down, my hair would smell of the salty sea, I'd be dodging

the high tide waves spraying up at the sea wall. Floating in the sea in tractor sized inner tube tyres. 

These memories will always bring a smile to my face. Ahhhhhh...Love those memories....

 

Hi I'm Carly the design creator of Coastkini Ltd who eventually grew up, left the beach huts

and studied 3 Dimensional Design in Surrey, graduating way back in 2000..

 

Coastkini started with a passion to combine both my work within the Emergency Services Sector and design.

I've always wanted to do something where I can be creative but at the same time give back to the

emergency services.  Living and working by the seaside is special and I have really fond memories

but there are hidden dangers which my work comes across. 

 

Since having my own children I didn't realise how expensive it is to provide swimming lessons for your children.

I feel that it is extremely important to make sure that every child in the UK has a basic understanding of

water safety.   

 

The RNLI save lives at sea and SWIMSAFE teach children to survive in water.

Swimsafe teach children the skills and knowledge to survive in water if they come into trouble and these are

FREE sessions which are found all around the United Kingdom through their website. 

The RNLI is a volunteer service manned by locals who put their lives at risk to save others out at sea

in all weather conditions.

 

With all this in mind Coastkini aims to brighten up your coast to coast adventures whether

that be at the beach or by the pool or trekking with their mind-blowing designs and one of a kind prints

and colour combinations making sure that you are seen! Life is too short for boring so join us
